8 Days Do Dham Yatra (with Yamunotri & Gangotri)

The Do Dham Yatra to Yamunotri and Gangotri is a sacred pilgrimage that takes devotees to the origin points of the Yamuna and Ganges rivers. This 8-day journey begins in Haridwar, where you will witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri and explore the spiritual town of Rishikesh, home to ancient temples, ashrams, and yoga centers.

The journey continues to Barkot, the gateway to Yamunotri, where a scenic trek or pony ride leads to the temple of Goddess Yamuna. Devotees take a holy dip in Surya Kund hot springs and offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple, a revered site for Hindus.

After seeking blessings at Yamunotri, travel to Uttarkashi, a town famous for Vishwanath Temple and its spiritual significance. The next stop is Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganges, where pilgrims take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple.

Conclude the yatra by driving back to Haridwar, reflecting on the spiritual experience amidst the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.

📍 Day 2: Haridwar - Rishikesh (24 km / 30 min)

• Visit Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
• Explore Geeta Bhawan & other temples.

📍 Day 3: Haridwar - Barkot (1828m) (100 km / 6 hrs)

• Scenic drive to Barkot, a gateway to Yamunotri.

• Drive to Hanuman Chatti, then take a jeep to Janki Chatti.
