13 Days Char Dham Yatra

The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage that takes you to the four holiest shrines of Uttarakhand—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. This journey is not just a spiritual retreat but also an opportunity to witness the majestic Himalayas, serene rivers, and lush valleys.

Start your tour in Haridwar, where you’ll attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, followed by a visit to Rishikesh’s ashrams and temples. Proceed to Yamunotri, where a 6 km trek or pony ride leads to the sacred Yamuna Temple. Next, head to Gangotri, the origin of the Ganges, and witness the divine aura of Bhagirathi’s holy waters.

Continue to Kedarnath, where a 14 km trek takes you to Lord Shiva’s temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Finally, reach Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, surrounded by breathtaking snow-capped peaks.

The return journey includes a scenic drive through Joshimath, Rudraprayag, and Haridwar, making this pilgrimage an unforgettable experience for the mind and soul.

📍 Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (210 km / 5 hrs)

• Arrive in Delhi, drive to Haridwar.
• Visit Har Ki Pauri Ganga Aarti.

📍 Day 2: Haridwar - Rishikesh (24 km / 30 min)

• Visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Rishikesh’s Ashrams.
• Optional yoga or river rafting experience.

📍 Day 3: Rishikesh - Barkot (1828 m) (100 km / 6 hrs)

• Drive to Barkot, a scenic Himalayan village.

📍 Day 4: Barkot - Janki Chatti - Yamunotri - Barkot (36 km drive + 6 km trek)

• Drive to Janki Chatti, then trek to Yamunotri Temple.
• Take a holy dip in Jamunabai Kund and return to Barkot.

📍 Day 5: Barkot - Uttarkashi (110 km / 5 hrs)

• Drive to Uttarkashi, visit Vishwanath Temple & Kuteti Devi Temple.

📍 Day 6: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (200 km / 10 hrs round trip)

• Drive to Gangotri, the source of the River Ganges.
• Take a holy dip at Bhagirathi Shila, then return to Uttarkashi.

📍 Day 7: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (210 km / 10 hrs)

• Drive through Tehri, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag.
• Witness Alaknanda & Mandakini river confluence.

📍 Day 8: Guptkashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath (32 km drive + 14 km trek)

• Drive to Gaurikund, trek to Kedarnath Temple.
• Attend evening Aarti & visit Adi Shankaracharya’s Samadhi.

📍 Day 9: Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptkashi (14 km trek + 32 km drive)

• Trek back to Gaurikund, drive to Guptkashi.

📍 Day 10: Guptkashi - Joshimath (190 km / 10 hrs)

• Drive via Chopta, a scenic hill station.

📍 Day 11: Joshimath - Badrinath - Joshimath (40 km / 2 hrs)

• Visit Badrinath Temple, take a dip in Tapt Kund.

📍 Day 12: Joshimath - Rudraprayag - Haridwar (240 km / 12 hrs)

• Drive back to Haridwar, en route visit Rudraprayag.

📍 Day 13: Haridwar - Delhi (210 km / 5 hrs)

• Drive back to Delhi for departure.
